Every story we tell helps our children develop a love for our Lord and His children.
Structure

In a Nutshell
Children should begin to experience Godās love and see that Godās word is exciting and fun! We want them to desire to come to Bible class each week and for them to see that people outside their family love and care about them.
Memory Work
The āHide n Seekā plan uses songs to help memorization, as well as points and rewards to encourage students to participate. Click the button below to find the printout and audio tracks for this program. Click the image above for downloads.

Timothy & Tabitha
Our summer program focuses on leadership, serving and outreach. Kids are given training of how to lead singing, pray, read scripture, and pepare lessons and then given opportunities to practice these skills. We also have several group outreach projects through the summer.

Security
Security is very important to South Plains. We have many things in place to help keep our children safe.
+ Each child is checked in before class
+ Hall monitors are stationed during class
+ Background checks for each volunteer
+ Exit plan is in place for fire safety
+ Childrenās allergies listed on role sheets
+ Controlled entrances and exits

Volunteers
Journey Land is always in need of Teachers and Helpers across all ages. There are numerous ways to get involved with Journey Land. To volunteer contact Lori Richardson or click the image above.
The Workshops
Wilderness Trek
Children are introduced to geographical settings, time lines, and the culture of the story. We also discuss missions, making children more aware of sharing God's love.
Journey Land Theatre
Children re-enact Bible stories using stage sets, lighting, and costumes. Kids learn the skit on Sunday, rehearse on Wednesday, and then perform for parents before the end of class.
Live from Jerusalem
Children use puppets to learn application skits. Kids learn the script Sunday morning, rehearse Wednesday evening, and perform for parents before the end of class.
Joseph's Workshop
Bible stories are taught through art projects, cooking experiences, and science experiments.
Solomon's Study
The entire Bible story is told in chronological order through various story telling techniques.
My Father's House
The entire Bible story is reviewed and key moments and themes are reinforced through games.
Reel Life
Movie clips are viewed and discussed to reach the life application of the Bible story.
Joyful Noise
Children lift their voices in praise. We teach children songs that connect to the current lesson and the memory work.
