Single Moms
The Single Moms Ministry has been blessed by God to serve both divorced & widowed women who have children to care for in all stages of life since 1995 at South Plains.
The program is supported by deeply committed strong Christian, talented women. The group is open to all who need help from the program.
We meet the 2nd Sunday of each month. We have dinner served from 6-6:30, our Bible study starts at 6:30-7:30 with 7:30-8 special social time. The children are supervised and involved in a program during the moms meeting in the FLC. We welcome any and all single moms from any church or background who are hurting, lonely or in need of spiritual strength from a great support group.

We have several special events: winter retreat in February for Valentine’s Day; May special Mother’s Day celebration; help with back-to-school supplies in August; thanksgiving turkey & blessings at November meeting and a very special Christmas party and treat for moms and Kids!!! All involved in this ministry serve God from the heart. Many caring volunteers are involved in caring for kids and making this program a blessing to all.
